Universitas Indonesia kembali mengadakan workshop berjudul “Perumusan Modul Pembelajaran Praktik Kolaborasi Interprofesi Pada Academic Health System (AHS) Universitas Indonesia”. Workshop kali ini bertujuan untuk menyamakan persepsi di antara calon pengampu mata kuliah interprofessional education (IPE) tentang konsep, konteks, dan proses IPE. Selain itu, workshop kali ini juga bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rencana pemodelan implementasi IPE pada area pelayanan geriatri terpadu.
Melalui workshop ini, diharapkan terjadi kesepakatan mengenai substansi IPE pada lingkup rumpun ilmu kesehatan. Materi dalam workshop kali ini disampaikan oleh Prof. Dr. dr. Siti Setiati, SpPD-KGER dan dr. Diantha Soemantri, M.MedEd.
Prof. Siti menyampaikan materi pengelolaan pasien geriatri berbasis patient-centered care dan model kolaborasi interprofessional layanan kesehatan. Secara singkat, Prof. Siti menjelaskan bahwa idealnya pelayanan geriatri adalah berbasis pendekatan interdisiplin, yaitu para ahli bekerja sama menangani satu pasien. Kenyataannya, saat ini satu pasien dapat ditangani berbagai dokter ahli, namun hanya menangani masalah yang berkaitan dengan bidang keahliannya saja tanpa berdiskusi. Dampaknya adalah polifarmasi dan biaya membengkak.
Pendekatan interdisiplin penting untuk pasien geriatri yang mempunyai karakteristik berbeda dengan pasien dewasa. Pendekatan interdisiplin dilakukan de-ngan cara melibatkan berbagai disiplin ilmu terkait yang secara sinergis bersama-sama menentukan rencana dan tujuan perawatan. Manfaatnya adalah menurunkan angka rehospitalisasi, risiko depresi, hingga biaya kesehatan.
Pada sesi berikutnya, dr. Diantha memaparkan pengalaman menerapkan IPE di UI untuk mahasiswa fakultas rumpun ilmu kesehatan (RIK). Modul ini disusun sejak 2009 dan sudah berjalan mulai 2012 Pada modul ini, mahasiswa diajarkan untuk berkomunikasi dan bekolaborasi de-ngan mahasiswa dari fakultas lain di RIK.
Saat ini, modul IPE masih difokuskan pada promosi dan prevensi kesehatan yang bekerja sama dengan Pemprov DKI Jakarta dan Depok. Modul IPE ini diharapkan akan diterapkan pada bidang geriatri. Bidang geriatri diharapkan menjadi contoh terlebih dulu, dengan kerja sama berbagai Rumah Sakit yang tergabung di AHS. IPE kemudian bisa diterapkan sesuai dengan keunggulan masing-masing rumah sakit. IPE nantinya diharapkan dijalankan tidak hanya di layanan tersier dan sekunder, namun harus dimulai di primer. Konsep home visit dan home care harus diajarkan sejak mahasiswa.
Salah satu outcome yang diharapkan dari workshop ini adalah agar modul IPE bisa diterapkan bukan hanya pada peserta program studi pendidikan dokter (PSPD), namun juga untuk peserta pendidikan dokter spesialis (PPDS). Hal ini karena ketika sudah lulus dan bekerja, dokter spesialis akan mempunyai pengaruh yang besar.
