AHS UI menyelenggarakan kegiatan bertajuk “Workshop Perumusan Program AHS UI Untuk Renstra 2020-2024” pada hari Rabu, 5 Februari 2020, bertempat di Ruang Rapat Gedung Alt. 2, Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan UI Depok.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh perwakilan dari seluruh Fakultas yang tergabung dalam Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan UI yaitu Fakultas Kedokteran, Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi, Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan, dan Fakultas Farmasi, serta perwakilan dari Rumah Sakit Pendidikan jejaring yang tergabung dalam AHS UI. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kegiatan dan program AHS UI selanjutnya yang akan tercantum pada Rencana Strategis (Renstra) periode 2020 – 2024. Workshop dibuka dengan sambutan dan overview mengenai AHS UI 2019 oleh Dekan FKUI yang sekaligus merupakan Koordinator AHS UI (Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH, MMB). Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Iman Santoso, SpOG (K),MPH selaku Wakil Koordinator AHS UI kemudian memberi paparan mengenai Program AHS UI 2020 untuk Persiapan Renstra AHS UI 2020 – 2024. Selanjutnya, dr. Anis Karuniawati, PhD, SpMK(K) selaku Wakil Dekan Bidang Sumber Daya, Ventura, dan Administrasi Umum memberikan presentasi mengenai pengembangan SDM AHS UI. Workshop dilanjutkan dengan presentasi singkat mengenai prioritas program oleh perwakilan dari masing-masing fakultas dan rumah sakit. Sesi selanjutnya adalah diskusi dan tanya jawab dimana para peserta workshop memberikan feedback terkait rencana program yang telah disampaikan dan juga klarifikasi mengenai proses pengembangan SDM AHS UI.
Acara ditutup oleh Prof. Budi dengan merangkum hasil diskusi yang telah dilakukan, serta menetapkan bahwa workshop selanjutnya akan dilakukan pada bulan April tahun 2020 di RIK UI, Depok untuk menyepakati program pada Renstra AHS UI 2020-2024.
Melihat luaran yang dapat dicapai melalui program-program yang akan dimasukan dalam Renstra 2020-2024, AHS UI dapat memberi dampak positif tidak hanya bagi anggota yang terlibat di dalamnya, namun juga bagi masyarakat luas.
Pada akhirnya, diharapkan bahwa AHS UI dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang maksimal, serta memperoleh manfaat dari hasil penelitian di bidang kesehatan.

A father and son duo have been arrested by German authorities on suspicion of trying to blackmail
the family of former Formula One driver Michael Schumacher.
The suspects allegedly claimed to have sensitive files the Schumachers ‘would
not want published’ and ‘demanded millions’ to stop them from doing so.
The two men transferred ‘individual files’ to the family to show they had access to documents about the F1 star,
prosecutors said.
The seven-time world champion has not been seen in public since he suffered a serious brain injury in a 2013 skiing accident in the French Alps.
He was caught out in a freak fall just metres away from
a popular ski slope that resulted in critical head injuries.
Schumacher’s wife, Corinna, who he married in 1995 has insisted on total secrecy over
his condition since.

Investigators in Germany were tipped off about the blackmail plot
by authorities in Switzerland, where Schumacher has been cared for at
the family home since the accident.
‘Technical measures’ made it possible to trace the alleged extortionists to Wuppertal, prosecutors said.
The two suspects, who were on probation in another case, were
arrested by police on June 19 in a supermarket parking lot in Gross-Gerau, south of Frankfurt.
Authorities searched eight properties, as well as the main residences of the two
men, seizing ‘several data storage devices’.
‘Extensive investigations’ into the case were still ongoing, they
said.
If convicted, the suspects face a prison sentence
of up to five years, the prosecutors added.
Schumacher’s family last month won a legal action against a German tabloid magazine which printed a fake
AI interview with the 55-year-old German former race driver.
Magazine Die Aktuelle had in April 2023 claimed it had an interview with the motorsport
legend but the article in fact contained quotes which had been computer-generated.
German tabloid Bild reported that Schumacher’s family was
awarded 200,000 euros ($220,000) in compensation for the claim.
On the day of his accident, Schumacher had taken to the
slopes with his then 14-year-old son Mick, and the pair had embarked on a seemingly routine skiing
excursion when disaster struck.

While descending the highly popular Combe de Saulire route, Schumacher opted to venture off-piste, entering into a
small sliver of uncombed powder between Piste Chamois
and Piste Biche that was peppered with small rocks.
Schumacher’s skis clipped one such boulder and the sudden force catapulted him into the air – leaving
him powerless to avoid a head-first collision with another
rock.
The impact was devastating. Schumacher’s helmet absorbed much
of the force, but the severity of the accident cracked the hard shell and
fractured Schumacher’s skull, leading to a traumatic brain injury.
Ski patrollers and a helicopter rescue team arrived at the scene within minutes, with eyewitnesses claiming Schumacher
was conscious after the accident, but was unable to answer questions and was
moving erratically.
Recognising the severity of the situation, the rescue team quickly immobilised him and transported him to
the nearby Moutiers Hospital, where he arrived at 11.53am.
From there, a helicopter airlifted him to the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Grenoble, a leading medical facility equipped with
a specialised neurosurgery unit, for two lifesaving
surgeries to reduce pressure on the brain.
A later investigation deemed Schumacher was travelling at a normal speed and was not skiing beyond his
abilities at the moment of his accident. But it is thought his
injuries – which would have almost certainly been fatal had the
former driver not been wearing a helmet – were exacerbated by a February 2009 motorcycle accident in which he suffered fractures in his head and neck.
Reporting just hours after the first surgery, the hospital’s chief anaesthesiologist Jean-Francois Payen said that the
ex-driver was ‘fighting for his life’ in critical condition, and judged that it was ‘a very serious situation’.
‘We can’t really say when he will recover – we cannot answer
this yet,’ he concluded.

Schumacher and Corinna married in 1995 and the pair have two children together
The hospital was under a strict security cordon, with only trusted visitors allowed to visit Schumacher.
His wife Corinna, daughter Gina-Marie, and Mick were at
his bedside, and they were later joined by close family friend, and former Ferrari team principal and CEO, Jean Todt.
Schumacher’s medical team was boosted by Professor Gerard Saillant, a brain and spine injury expert and close friend of Schumacher, who performed a second surgery on a hematoma on the left side
of his brain.
The driver survived both surgeries against the odds, but remained in critical condition for several
weeks.
By April 2014, Schumacher was being withdrawn gradually from the medically induced coma, a process that was completed in June 2014.
He then travelled to Lausanne University Hospital for continuous rehabilitation, before leaving the facility in September to the £50m Schumacher family home in Gland, Switzerland, on the banks of Lake Geneva.
