Kunjungan dari Pusat Kesehatan Angkatan Darat ke Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia (FKUI) pada Januari 2020 ini, merupakan pertemuan yang kedua sebagai tindak-lanjut wacana kerjasama antara FKUI dengan Puskesad.
Kepala Puskesad, Mayjen Dr. dr. Tugas Ratmono, Sp.S., M.A.R.S., M.H., datang langsung untuk memimpin kunjungan ini didampingi beberapa staf ahli. FKUI sebagai tuan rumah pun menyambut hangat kedatangan tim Puskesad. Hadir dalam pertemuan tersebut adalah Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH, MMB selaku Dekan FKUI sekaligus Koordinator AHS UI, Prof. Dr. dr. Dwiana Ocviyanti, SpOG (K), MPH selaku Wakil Dekan FKUI Bidang Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Kemahasiswaan, Dr. dr. Andon Hestiantoro, SpOG (K), MPH selaku Manajer Kerjasama, Ventura dan Hubungan Alumni FKUI, serta Prof. dr. Badriul Hegar Syarif, Ph.D, Sp.A(K) selaku Direktur Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI). Pertemuan berlangsung pada hari Kamis, 16 Januari 2020 di ruangan Senat Akademik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia.
Agenda pertemuan kali ini adalah membahas lebih lanjut mengenai rencana program kerjasama FKUI dengan Puskesad, yang realisasinya tinggal menunggu persetujuan dari Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Darat (KSAD) agar Kapuskes dapat menandatangani Perjanjian Kerja Sama (PKS).
Puskesad kembali menekankan bahwa dalam bidang penelitian, mereka masih sangat kekurangan tenaga peneliti yang handal. Padahal sejatinya, Puskesad telah memiliki beberapa laboratorium yang bisa digunakan untuk keperluan penelitian.
Di sisi lain, Puskesad sebagai bagian dari TNI juga sangat membuka peluang untuk turut melibatkan TNI dalam penelitian, apabila memang diperlukan untuk kepentingan pengetahuan. Maka dari itu, salah satu fokus kerjasama yang diharapkan adalah dalam hal tenaga peneliti. Adapun sejauh ini beberapa topik yang berpotensi untuk diangkat adalah terkait infeksi, stunting, dan kesehatan anggota wanita TNI. Puskesad juga mengaku belum memiliki fasilitas laboratorium mikrobiologi. Melalui kerjasama ini, diharapkan nantinya agar SDM TNI bidang Pengembangan Kesehatan dapat terpenuhi contohnya melalui anggota TNI yang mengikuti program studi spesialis Mikrobiologi Klinik di FKUI.
Permasalahan lain yang ikut dibahas pada pertemuan ini adalah mengenai sedikitnya mahasiswa FKUI yang berminat bergabung sebagai anggota TNI. Sebenarnya selama ini sudah pernah diadakan sosialisasi bagi mahasiswa, hanya saja sifatnya masih sporadis. Tidak ada suatu program khusus yang berjalan jangka panjang dan dilakukan dengan evaluasi. Pendataan terhadap mahasiswa yang berminat terhadap TNI juga tidak dilakukan secara komprehensif. Ke depannya, setelah dilakukan penandatanganan PKS diharapkan dapat dibuat suatu program khusus yang sustainable dimana mahasiswa FKUI dapat memilih untuk berkarir di militer sekaligus memiliki jenjang karir sebagai peneliti TNI AD.
Saat ini tinggal selangkah lagi AHS UI bisa berjalan bersama dengan Puskesad. Semoga nantinya rencana-rencana yang telah dibahas dapat diimplementasikan agar kerjasama ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang luar biasa bagi bangsa.
